General Building Steps

Preliminary

  • Review site, survey & plat (if available)
  • Review deed & homeowner association requirements/restrictions
  • Review project variables
  • Estimate scope & project fees
Design
  • Design a new plan or work with existing architectural plans
  • Determine specifications


Contract and Financials

  • Execute builder construction contract
  • Determine funding requirements and
    disbursement schedule

Construction

  • Obtain necessary city/county permits
  • Manage various trade subcontractors
  • Supervise phases of construction
  • Customer progress inspections
  • Final walk-thru before closing
